The gallery page has now been updated with photographs taken at the soup share and Christmas events from last year.

Asda Green Token SchemeA big 'Thank You' to all that voted for us.
We are delighted to announce that we won the 1st prize and received a £500 cheque in November. These funds will be put to good use repairing and maintaining the site with a priority on the poly tunnels. |
The Big Lottery Fund
As you may be aware we have had an application in for Lottery funding for some time now and we are delighted to announce we have been awarded £105,568 from the Big Lottery Fund.

The Big Lottery Fund grant means that our service can continue to provide an engaging and stimulating outdoor learning environment and we are looking forward to implementing the exciting service developments we have planned.'

The five year reaching communities grant will fund the part-time salary of an existing Allotment Co-ordinator as well as general running expenses and sessional workers to develop 'fork to fork' experiences, 'grow your own' courses and residential care home visits. Gardening equipment and refurbishment of the site including replacing fencing, additional storage and the installation of easy access, compost toilet facilities.

Gift Aid
Thank you to all who signed up for the Gift Aid scheme. This has helped by raising over £500 as a rebate from HMRC.
